Clone Wars Dress With Pockets

I saw this fabric and knew exactly what I was going to make with it. The pillow case with Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-wan on the front would be for the top and the sheet the skirt.

Drapping it over the dress form is how I see what it will look like before I get started.

I also wanted to learn how to do pockets . It's the same style as the other dresses i've made recently.

The top part was easy to construct with the lining.

Figuring out how to do the pockets was definitely a challenge. After looking at the directions for about 15 minutes, it finally clicked. You attach the pockets to the front and the back , then as you sew the seam up, you attach the back/front pockets together as well.

I was really happy with the pockets and the look of this dress! I will definitely make more dresses and skirts with pockets.
