Claire Fraser Crocheted Cowl

Research & Inspiration

Honestly, I never gave much thought to learning crocheting. I did, however, see a lot of cowls and hand warmers in the Outlander Costumes that I wanted to replicate. Going to Etsy and buying all the ones I needed could get a little pricey. So I decided to teach myself.

Once I started doing more research you can do all sorts of things like sweaters, decorations, and blankets oh my! ALL THE THINGS!!

Getting Started

I went to Michaels and got the Wool-Ease type of yarn in Barley to match Claire's colors. When I pulled the yarn out my cat that has never seen yarn freaked out!
